The association
Swiss Goa Events
Swiss Goa Events was founded by three friends whose friendship has lasted more than 20 years, united by their love of Goa, its culture, its music, its cuisine and its warm, lively community spirit.
Alex Duarte and Ivor Fernandes were both born in Goa, India. Alex now lives in Switzerland, while Ivor lives in England. Together with their longtime friend François Henchoz, they created Swiss Goa Events around a simple vision:
To bring communities together and promote peace, friendship and harmony through memorable events and shared experiences.
Our events showcase the best of Goan culture while inviting people from all walks of life to come together, enjoy great food, music and entertainment, and create unforgettable memories.
A friendship that crosses borders
François and Alex have been close friends for more than three decades. François joined the Swiss Goa Events adventure through his long friendship with Alex and his own deep attachment to Goa.
François first discovered Goa in 2002 and immediately fell in love with its unique culture, warm hospitality, music and festive gatherings. His love for Goa brought him back in 2016, and again in 2020, strengthening his ties with the people, the traditions and the spirit of the region.
Today, the three friends combine their experiences, talents and networks to create unique events that bring people together, in Switzerland, the United Kingdom and beyond.
More than events: a celebration of community
Swiss Goa Events is much more than organising parties and celebrations.
It is above all a story of friendship, culture, music, gastronomy and community.
We believe a great event can bring together people from different backgrounds, create new friendships and celebrate everything that unites us.
Come and celebrate with us.
Good food • Great music • Wonderful people • Unforgettable memories
